In the UK, The British Red Cross is also there to provide emergency response or support victims of modern slavery. Additionally, we provide services that help people in need in the UK with practical, local and emotional support. We are hiring occupational therapists, physiotherapists and other clinicians, and of course nurses for jobs that support people who are in a vulnerable position. The British Red Cross generally expects to pay at a level comparable to the public sector and the charity sector for example: A service manager in our Health and Local Crisis Response team at the British Red Cross, will be paid in the region of £26,000 per annum.
A support worker in our Health and Care team team at the British Red Cross, will be paid in the region of £21,840 per annum.
