Residential care services at Gold Care Homes
We prize each individual’s experience. We offer comfortable rooms with privacy. The residents our teams care for have reached a point where it has become hard for them to maintain independence, even with the support of friends and family. In our residential care services at Gold Care Homes they find that support. They are also provided social interaction with other residents. This allows them to enjoy a happy and fulfilling life where care and support is on hand, tailored to their needs.
Dementia care services at Gold Care Homes
Our teams take the time to understand and get to know each resident (their character, history and personal background) and build a care package for them. You will be working in a home that uses superior resources and facilities for comfortable, and safe dementia care including zero self-harm bathrooms, expert MDTs, secure gardens, spacious ‘wander ways’ and 24-hour alarm calls in each bedroom. We’ll encourage you to also get to know the resident’s family and friends, and make them feel welcome, so that you can build a complete picture of the resident and the care they need.
Nursing care services at Gold Care Homes
We provide 24 hour clinical care in many of our nursing homes. Nurses will work in settings that are the same as our residential care services, but with the additional support of a registered nurse.
Palliative care at Gold Care Homes
You will join a trained team who deliver a dignified and peaceful environment to residents for those approaching their end of life. You will manage pain and mental health of residents, following recognised guidelines, with a 24-hour personalised care plan to ensure a dignified support plan and environment. Our palliative care teams help with personal care needs, as well as spiritual and social support. You will be given the opportunity to customise care according to the residents’ preferences, within recognised guidelines and working with third party care providers (NHS, GPs etc).
