The regulator’s report praised our service for delivering ‘person-centred care’ and highlighted the compassion and kindness shown by staff: ‘The service worked with people to understand what being safe means to them as well as with partners on the best way to achieve this. The service concentrated on improving people’s lives while protecting their right to live in safety, free from bullying, harassment, abuse, discrimination, avoidable harm and neglect.’
All 6 wards at Cygnet Hospital Stevenage work together to provide a secure care pathway for men and women.
You will work closely with NHS case managers and commissioners. Alongside your colleagues, you will provide solutions for service users requiring step-down service options across Cygnet’s UK network of rehabilitation and specialist mental healthcare services.

Alice Zimba, our Hospital Manager, qualified as a nurse in 2005 and has experience of working in the NHS and the private sector. She has experience and higher qualifications in forensic mental health. Alice joined Cygnet in 2015.
Dr Ahmad is our medical director and has worked as a consultant psychiatrist and clinical director and has helped establish a new PICU unit for NHS North East London Trust.
Eve Kaklamanos is our clinical manager and has worked in RMN jobs since 2008, joining Cygnet in 2014.
