Some words from our home manager and deputy home manager

Here’s what Kate Smith and Amy Laws, our Home Manager and Deputy Manager, have to say about join this home with Care UK:

“The team and I consider it a huge privilege to care for older people and are proud that their families trust us to care for them. This is a lovely friendly and happy home, with a great family atmosphere. We look forward to welcoming you here soon.“

Kate Smith - Home Manager

“I’ve worked in care since 2007. I started out as a care assistant and worked my way up the ladder. I joined the Care UK team at Mills Meadow in 2015 because it has a good reputation for delivering great care and for supporting its people. Mills Meadow is a lovely care home to work in. The team is friendly and supportive, and there’s a warm atmosphere here that everyone comments on. The icing on the cake for everyone was gaining our ‘outstanding’ CQC rating. It was recognition of the hard work and commitment that everyone gives every day.”

Amy Laws - Deputy Home Manager
