“I love being part of the Heather View family. I enjoy the time I spend with residents, their families and my colleagues. I always strive to bring a smile to people’s faces, and I’m focused on keeping the home’s standards at the very highest level. Being a Nurse gives me the opportunity to help other people and to grow and develop inways that are consistent with my values. I love being able to empower others to speak up for themselves and to help them live with dignity. I’m proud of the impact that I can have – I remember a resident’s family member contacting me to tell me the difference I’d made to her mother throughout her time at the home. It’s those moments that make what we do worthwhile.”

Oliver Snook

Head Chef

“I joined Care UK in 2023 after spending 25 years working in various top-end establishments, including private homes, restaurants and hotels. I even worked in Brazil as a private chef to a rock star. I enjoy the work life balance I have with Care UK and the knowledge that a job well done is reflected in the wellbeing of the residents. A Head Chef must have a commitment to high standards in the kitchen, an understanding that individuals needs are important and good organizational skills. I love delivering the food to residents and meeting them with a smile every day, and I look forward to continuing to raise standards and provide a better service.”
