Lisa Phillips

Customer Relations Manager

““I joined Care UK in 2021 with a strong sales, events and programme management background. I was working at West Sussex County Council in schools across the country, when a friend of mine who worked for Care UK and always told me how much she loved her role said a similar role had come up at a nearby home, so I knew I should apply immediately. As a CRM, you need to have strong people skills, including understanding and empathy, organisational skills, sales experience and the ability to multitask and work at a fast pace. I love that this role is so full on and fast paced. I enjoy the variety in the role and working with such an amazing team, families and residents. I love helping people find a safe place for their loved ones, often at a time of crisis.”

Luigi Donato

Clinical Lead

“I am a Clinical Lead Nurse, practicing in the UK since 2014. I am passionate about my role at Bowes House. I want to ensure the residents receive the very best of care. My office is in Weald unit do come along to see me if you have any questions!”

Erin Dulake

Lifestyle Lead

“The best part of my working day at Bowes House is putting smiles on residents’ faces and knowing that I’ve made their day at least a little bit better. I joined Care UK because of the opportunities available, and being promoted from Senior Activity Coordinator to Lifestyle Lead has been a highlight of my career. In this role, it’s important to be bubbly, happy and helpful. Supporting residents with meaningful lifestyles by making every part of their day as enjoyable as possible is the most important part of my role. I’m proud to be able to make people happy and help people. Outside of work, my interests are in dance, cars and social media.”

Andy Snook

Head Chef

“I am responsible for ensuring that residents eat a well-balanced, nutritious diet of their choice and suitable for their needs. I have worked as a chef for over 18 years. In the past I have worked in fine dining restaurants and other care settings, more recently at Bowes House. Please come and talk to me if you have any special requests or requirements.”

Gill Pillay

Head Housekeeper

“I have worked in Bowes house for a number of years. Working in different departments from housekeeping, care, the lifestyle team and most recently promoted to Head House keeper and ICC. The role of Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) Champion is vital in ensuring that colleagues maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the home, keeping residents and colleagues safe. They work hard to deliver the relevant training to the team, complete audits and keep on top of the legislation and guidelines.”

Lee Clark

Maintenance

“I am a trained plasterer, painter and decorator. Before joining Bowes House as a Maintenance Assistant, I worked as the Facilities Assistant at a local National Trust property. I wanted to work somewhere that put care at the forefront, while working with a team of people who treat others with respect and dignity. I joined Care UK because I wanted to use my maintenance skills to give residents a safe and engaging environment that fulfils their needs. I was proud when I was asked to step up to Maintenance Manager. There are a number of key characteristics that a Maintenance Manger needs. I need to communicate effectively with all team members, management, contractors, residents and visitors; effectively solve problems, whether they are quick fixes or more complex ongoing problems.”
