Residential care
Our residential care provides personal care and assisted living services for older people (65 and older) who require support with general, daily living needs such as bathing, dressing, cooking, cleaning and medication.

Dementia care
Most of our care homes cater for people living with dementia. We employ our ReConnect programme for residents living with dementia. ReConnect is a philosophy of care. It strives for truly person-centred care by helping others understand more about a person, helping team members to engage with an individual in a meaningful way by understanding their previous interests, hobbies and life. This allows individuals to feel understood and more fully supported.

Nursing care
Our nursing care services at Avery Healthcare are for older people (65 and over) who have more complex healthcare needs which cannot be provided for at their home. For instance, complex wound care, or frequent and complex medication.

Dementia nursing care
For those residents who have more complex dementia needs we offer dementia nursing care homes. We work with local primary care services. Many people living with dementia have other long-term conditions including Parkinson’s, arthritis or diabetes. We develop personalised care plans for each resident to ensure medication, meal preferences and personal care is looked at as part of a holistic plan, and is appropriate for each individual.

Respite & convalescence care
We offer short-term stays for those who might need a spell of support while recovering from illness. It can also give primary carers a well-earned break.
