Job Description

Team Leader - Nursing Home
Location: Edwinstowe
Salary: 38,563 per annum
Shifts: Days
Our client, a respected nursing home based in Edwinstowe, is seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join their dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with leadership experience in the healthcare sector who is passionate about providing high-quality care to elderly residents.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, support, and supervise the care team to ensure high-quality care is delivered.
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the care home, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor care plans for residents.
  • Act as a point of contact for residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Provide training and development for care staff.
  • Ensure all clinical and care procedures are followed accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist in the recruitment and retention of staff.
  • Maintain accurate records in line with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a care setting.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care (Level 5 is desirable).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Compassionate, proactive, and dedicated to high-quality care.
  • A flexible approach to working hours and shifts.
