What you will do:

* Conduct complex assessments, safeguarding investigations, and reviews in line with departmental policy and procedures.

* Manage a caseload of complex cases, ensuring needs are assessed, and appropriate options or solutions are identified.

* Provide information, support, guidance, and advice to adults, children, young people, carers, and families.

* Prepare detailed planning documents and lead care/support/action planning activities.

* Record and present casework data accurately and prepare comprehensive reports for meetings and case conferences.

* Develop intervention plans and maximise the use of alternative solutions such as telecare and telehealth.

* Support and supervise students or newly qualified workers, assisting the Team Manager as required.
