We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Pharmacist to join our primary care team at HMP Altcourse a category B remand prison located in Fazakerley, Liverpool. HMP Altcourse houses around 1,164 patients aged 18+ and is one of the busiest remand prisons in England. Within this role you would be joining and experienced and well staffed Pharmacy Team, where your role would primary focus on dispensing, clinical screening, structured medication and delivering services including vaccination, pain management, minor ailment and substance misuse services.

Monday to Friday 7am-4pm
Salary
This full time role with an annual salary of between £49,848 and £59,941 per annum depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
What you'll be doing
As the Clinical Pharmacist your responsibilities will vary. You will:
- Ensure the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high quality prison pharmaceutical service
- Provide expert advice on pharmaceutical matters and ensuring a safe and modern medicines management services
- Lead a team of Pharmacy technicians

Qualifications & Experience
- Registered Pharmacist - holding registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Vocational Master's Degree in Pharmacy including pre-registration training
- Relevant post qualification
