We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Social Care Team Manager to join the Children's Safeguarding Team in Rochdale. Key Responsibilities

Provide strong leadership and oversight to a high-performing Children's Safeguarding Team.

Champion the implementation of the Family Safeguarding Model , using a trauma-informed and motivational interviewing approach.

Work directly with families, focusing on building strengths and achieving long-term positive outcomes.

Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including domestic abuse practitioners, and drug and alcohol workers, to deliver holistic, joined-up support.

Manage safeguarding risks and promote the goal of keeping children safely with their families wherever possible.

Person Specification

Proven experience in managing or leading within a children's safeguarding setting.

Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation, child protection procedures, and the Family Safeguarding Model.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.

A forward-thinking, solution-oriented approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
