Social Worker - Safeguarding Team- Locum Position in Newham, UK, £38.50 Hourly , Ongoing. Full Time/Part Time hours available. What you will do:

* Conduct Section 47 child protection enquiries and take the lead on Child in Need and Child Protection plans, ensuring the safety and well-being of children.

* Work within Looked After Children or court proceedings, coordinating with schools, police and health services.

* Write detailed reports for court purposes, including parenting assessments and risk analysis.

* Participate in multi-agency safeguarding hub teams to ensure a collaborative approach to child protection.

* Ensure all work adheres to the Children Act 1989 and 2004, as well as the statutory guidance of Working Together to Safeguard Children.
