We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join our Cancer Nursing Team at The Wellington Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare UK. Our hospital is currently rated "Good" by the CQC and proudly holds the Macmillan Quality Environment Mark Award. We are dedicated to delivering bespoke, patient-centred care within a purpose-built unit comprising 17 Medical Oncology beds and 2 Neuroendocrine suites.
I
n this role, you'll be working alongside a skilled, supportive nursing team to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of specialist oncology care. You will play a vital role as an advocate for your patients, ensuring their physical, medical, and emotional needs are met through compassionate and effective communication with both them and their families.

You'll benefit from greater autonomy in your daily work, as our clinical environment is highly nurse-led. This gives you more control in patient assessments and treatment decisions while knowing you are supported by a collaborative team. The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:4, allowing you to provide truly focused and individualised care, depending on patient acuity.

What you'll bring:

• A current NMC Nurse registration
• Experience in Chemotherapy administration (SACT)
• Post registration experience within oncology setting
• Wide and evidence-based knowledge of systemic anti-cancer treatments e.g. chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiotherapy etc and the known and lesser-known side effects of these
