- Provide overnight medical care and emergency response to inmates, ensuring their health and safety.

- Accurately administer medications, including controlled drugs.

- Conduct health assessments and triage physical and mental health issues effectively.

- Monitor ongoing health conditions and escalate concerns when necessary.

- Maintain accurate and confidential healthcare records.

- Adhere strictly to prison security protocols and work closely with prison staff.

- Support inmates with mental health needs, especially if RMN-qualified.

- Promote safeguarding and manage risks such as self-harm or violence.
