What you will do:
* Assist Occupational Therapists in assessing and treating adults with various physical, cognitive, or mental health conditions.
* Support patients with mobility, self-care, and daily activities to empower their independence.
* Implement tailored rehabilitation programs under the guidance of a qualified Occupational Therapist.
* Provide essential equipment and adaptations, such as wheelchairs and handrails, to improve accessibility and quality of life.
* Accurately document patient progress and report findings to the Occupational Therapy team.
* Work across diverse environments, including hospitals, care homes, community settings, or assisting patients within their homes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in healthcare, social care, or rehabilitation is essential.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate within the therapy team.
* Practical knowledge of occupational therapy techniques and familiarity with assistive equipment.
* A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care is preferred but fresh perspectives are always welcome.
