What you will do:
* Conduct thorough assessments of children with disabilities to craft customised support plans
* Collaborate effectively with families, carers, and multi-agency professionals to provide cohesive care
* Manage a complex caseload with a focus on timely interventions and ensuring safeguarding measures are met
* Implement and review Child in Need (CIN) Plans, Child Protection (CP) Plans, and Education, Health & Care Plans (EHCPs) where necessary
* Participate actively in multi-disciplinary meetings, case conferences, and legal proceedings as required
* Advocate fiercely for children and young people, ensuring access to top-notch services and resources
* Keep precise and current case records in line with the Children's Act Apply and statutory guidelines
* Offer both emotional and practical support to children and families, promoting inclusion, independence, and safeguarding
* Engage in ongoing training and supervision to advance professional development
Requirements :
* A degree in Social Work (BA, BSc, or equivalent)
* Social Work England registration
* Demonstrated experience in a Children with Disabilities or Safeguarding team
* Exceptional assessment, advocacy, and communication skills
* Comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation, such as the Children Act 1989, Care Act 2014, and the SEND Code of Practice 2015
