Job Opportunity: Band 6/7 Occupational Therapist -Private Mental Health Team in Widnes, UK £35-£40 per hour
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Band 6/7 Occupational Therapist to join a dynamic Mental Health Team in Widnes. This locum position offers a competitive rate of £35-£40 per hour and requires an ASAP start, running for a duration of 9 months. You'll be working two days a week, allowing flexibility and work-life balance. What you will do:
* Provide expert occupational therapy interventions to patients within a neuropsychiatry and mental health setting.
* Supervise and mentor an entry-level Band 6 Occupational Therapist and an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
* Collaborate within a core multidisciplinary team including a Neuropsychiatrist, Psychologist, Speech and Language Therapist, Physiotherapist, Hospital Manager, Clinical Manager, and Nursing team.
* Manage a caseload on a 14-to-28 bed ward with a full multidisciplinary team, ensuring excellent patient outcomes.
* Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on patient assessments.
Requirements:
* Must be HCPC registered.
* At least 2 years of experience in neuro-psychiatry and mental health.
* Car driver preferable, to facilitate travel as needed.
