Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a Social Worker within the Fostering Team to work Full time in North London. The salary for this permanent Social Worker job is £40,000 - £50,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

* Recruit, assess, and support foster carers in line with national fostering standards and regulations.

* Complete thorough assessments of prospective foster carers and make recommendations to fostering panels.

* Provide ongoing supervision and support to foster carers, addressing any challenges they face.

* Work collaboratively with children's services, fostering panels, and external agencies to ensure children's needs are met.

* Attend and contribute to care planning meetings, reviews, and training sessions.

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks.

Requirements of this Social Worker role:

* Degree in Social Work and current registration with Social Work England.

* Demonstrable experience in fostering, child protection, or a related field.

* Have a good working knowledge of the relevant legislation.

* Excellent communication, assessment, and report-writing skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
