We are offering an exciting ongoing locum opportunity for a Social Worker within our dedicated Children & Families Team in Exeter. This role provides full-time hours and a generous rate of £38 per hour. What you will do:

* Manage a varied caseload of child-in-need and child protection cases, as well as cases in legal proceedings and those involving looked-after children.

* Work collaboratively with children, young people, and families to achieve positive outcomes that are family-led and strength-based.

* Conduct visits, when necessary, ensuring you maintain a presence during critical times while also having the opportunity to work from home occasionally.

* Build and maintain meaningful relationships that promote safety and stability for vulnerable children and their families.

* Engage creatively and effectively with your team, consisting of Social Workers, ASYEs, and Family Practitioners, led by supportive Team Managers and Assistant Team Managers.
