What you will do:

- Lead and supervise a team to deliver high-quality safeguarding services to adults at risk in Hackney.

- Undertake complex casework, including assessments and interventions, to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults.

- Work collaboratively with stakeholders across multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement effective safeguarding plans.

- Provide expert guidance and support to junior social workers and other practitioners, ensuring consistent and excellent practice standards.

- Regularly review and audit safeguarding cases, offering insights and recommendations for service improvement.

- Stay informed of the latest legislation and practice developments in social work to contribute to the team's continuous learning and development.

Requirements of the Senior Practitioner:

* Degree or equivalent in social work

* Current Social Work England registration

* Significant frontline experience in Social Services within the UK working as a qualified Social Worker
