Job Description

Role: Admin Assistant

Location: London Central - Harley Street
Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Full time over a 4-day week (Mon - Thurs)
Rota: 7.30am earliest start and 7.30pm latest finish
Salary Range: £27,000 to £28,500 depending on experience

We're looking for an Admin Assistant to join our team at the prestigious Harley Street Health Centre in Central London.

As an Admin Assistant you will provide a comprehensive range of administrative services to patients, GPs and other third parties which will in turn assist in giving patients a seamless journey into using our world class services.

If you enjoy working in a customer-facing role, this could be just the job your are looking for! This is a really interesting position where no two days are the same and you will have the opportunity to develop a variety of skills. Our supervisor and management team started as Admin Assistants.

This is a fabulous opportunity for you to work in a wonderful location as part of our friendly and supportive Primary Care team. Your full time hours will be over a four-day week.

What you'll do:

  • Give our famously-warm welcome to all attending patients
  • Professionally support patients with telephone and email enquiries
  • Register patients and manage their appointments
  • Take payment and keep accurate invoice records
  • Ensure that all administrative functions are carried out to the highest standard and accuracy.
  • Support patients with their onward journey for imaging and specialist care.
  • Learn to type referral letters and medical reports with our extensive training programme.
What you'll bring:
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • At least 1 year experience in medical administration and/or front of house hospitality. General administration experience also considered as long as you have a clear interest in healthcare
  • Computer literacy
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a positive attitude and the ability to empathise with patients and visitors.
  • Excellent customer care skills, ensuring each patient's journey is seamless and compassionate.
