Job Title: Advanced Social Worker - Emergency Duty Service
Location: Swindon, UK
Salary: £68,646.50 annually, Full Time

What you will do:
* Serve as the Lead Child Protection worker out of office hours, conducting necessary investigations to ensure the safety of children under the Children Act 1989.
* Respond to and act upon referrals while on duty, assessing and supporting children in need and promoting family welfare.
* If qualified, adopt the role of AMHP, assessing children and adults under the Mental Health Act 1983 and managing immediate community support plans.
* Record all interventions, referrals, and decisions efficiently to maintain thorough service user files.
* Prepare emergency court applications out of hours and represent in court to safeguard welfare.
* Provide advice to other professionals and the public on relevant legal frameworks to ensure the safety of children and vulnerable adults.
