We have an exciting opportunity for a Part Time Administrator to join our team at HMP Grendon & Spring Hill , a category D Open Prison located in Aylesbury.

HMP Grendon & Spring Hill are two prisons based on one site are category D open and rehabilitation male prisons with a small healthcare team that focuses on rehabilitation and preparing inmates to return to the community.

Hours

Part Time - 11.25 hours per week
This can be done over 2,3,4 or 5 days.

Salary

This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary up to £27,582per annum FTE (pro rata for 11.25 hours per week) - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing

As an Administrator your responsibilities will vary. You will

  • Contribute to the delivery of administration services, to the healthcare team on site
  • Work within a busy team, completing a variety of administrative tasks, working on IT systems, maintaining databases/waiting lists/call-up lists, customer service, answering and directing telephone calls, general office duties such as typing, ordering and stock control, scanning etc.

Qualifications required
  • English and Maths at GCSE or equivalent
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Excellent communication skills
