Lead Clinical/Counselling Psychologist

Location: Risborough, UK

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday)

An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced and innovative Lead Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join Red Kite School in Risborough. As part of a multidisciplinary team , including Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy professionals, you will play a key role in pioneering assessment and intervention plans for pupils. This is a unique chance to drive meaningful change in a setting that prioritises excellence, collaboration, and pupil wellbeing .

What You Will Do:

* Design and implement bespoke assessment and intervention plans tailored to the needs of young people.

* Lead and facilitate multidisciplinary collaboration to achieve the best outcomes for pupils.

* Contribute to clinical governance structures and ensure high professional standards.

* Provide specialist clinical advice and training to staff, families, and external partners.

* Supervise and mentor Assistant Psychologists , supporting professional development.

* Manage and analyse data to inform service delivery and drive improvements.

Essential Criteria:

* Post-graduate doctoral qualification in Psychology (Clinical, Counselling, or Forensic) or experienced Psychotherapist .

* HCPC and BPS registration .

* Proven experience in supervising Assistant Psychologists and working with intellectual disabilities .

* Strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders and manage conflict effectively .

* Extensive post-qualification experience with both adults and children.

* Background in teaching, training, or lecturing , with expertise in data management .
