What you will do:

* Engage with children and families from ages 0-18 involved in Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and care proceedings.

* Conduct comprehensive assessments of families, formulating and coordinating tailored intervention plans with a multi-agency approach.

* Collaborate with a dynamic team, including team managers, advanced practitioners, and fellow social workers, to leverage collective expertise and deliver exceptional service.

* Guide families through child protection and court processes with skill and sensitivity, ensuring the best possible outcomes for children.

* Work closely with co-located services such as the early help service, fostering service, commissioning service, and cared for children service to enhance joint working efforts.

We are seeking one social worker to fill a vacancy within our committed Court and Locality Service. By working in the South Locality Service based in Wythenshawe, you will be joining six individual teams, each comprising a team manager, two advanced practitioners, and social workers at either grade 6 (ASYE) or grade 7.
