A fantastic locum opportunity has surfaced for a Qualified Social Worker in the Adults Learning Disabilities Team in Blackpool, offering a rate of £30.66 per hour hourly for a contract lasting three months. This role is set within the vibrant community of Blackpool, where you will work from Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm and Fridays 9am to 4.30pm at the Blackpool Council Bickerstaffe Offices. You will be joining an enthusiastic team dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of adults and young people with learning disabilities. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in completing Care Act Assessments and Care Act Reviews.

What you will do:

* Carry out comprehensive assessments and reviews in line with the department's policies and the Care Act 2014.

* Lead on safeguarding, identifying risks, and developing action plans to ensure the safety and wellbeing of service users.

* Collaborate closely with other teams, providers, carers, and external agencies to deliver outcome-focused services.

* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of social care issues to empower individuals and enable informed decision-making.

* Engage actively in professional supervision and departmental meetings.

* Record and manage documentation efficiently using the department's IT facilities.
