What you will do:

- Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to adult patients and carers in a community setting.

- Collaborate with senior staff to offer specialist advice to the wider community rehabilitation and therapy services.

- Liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams, external organisations, and other services to ensure seamless patient care.

- Contribute to developing and implementing patient-focused pathways of care.

- Promote relevant health campaigns within the community.

- Maintain accurate and current patient records per professional and legal requirements.

Essential Requirements:

- HCPC registration (Health and Care Professions Council).

- Proven experience in adult speech and language therapy within a community setting.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

- Ability to manage a complex caseload independently and prioritise workload effectively.

- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.

Desirable:

- Experience working with a multicultural and diverse patient population.

- Previous experience in a Band 7 role or equivalent senior position.

- Knowledge of relevant health promotion strategies.
