What you will do:
* Provide visionary leadership and management to a team of social workers and professionals within the Multi-Agency Children's Hub (MACH).
* Collaborate proactively with police, health services, education, and other safeguarding agencies to efficiently assess and respond to referrals.
* Oversee and ensure timely and prioritised decision-making on referrals, focusing relentlessly on safeguarding and risk assessment.
* Conduct thorough quality assurance of case management and decision-making processes to ensure strict compliance with statutory requirements.
* Support and mentor staff, enhancing their professional growth through consistent supervision, coaching, and development.
* Ensure the team adheres to the Children's Act 1989, Working Together to Safeguard Children, and other local safeguarding procedures.
* Contribute to the strategic development and continuous improvement of service delivery across the MACH.
