Job Description
Location: Preston
Hours: 36 hours per week
Shifts: Nights (19:00 - 07:00)
Pay: £22 per hour
Our client, a well-established and dedicated mental health care home in Preston, is seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join their compassionate team. Specialising in providing expert care for individuals with bipolar/manic depression, complex behaviour/psychosis, head/brain injuries, and schizophrenia, they are committed to delivering person-centred care that makes a tangible difference in the lives of their residents.
Role Overview
As an RMN, you will play a key role in ensuring the wellbeing and safety of residents during night shifts. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual care plans tailored to each resident's specific needs.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care and support to residents with complex mental health needs.
Administer medication and manage care plans effectively.
Monitor and manage changes in residents’ health and behaviour.
Offer emotional support and build trusting relationships with residents and their families.
Ensure compliance with CQC standards and company policies.
Requirements
Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC Pin.
Experience working with mental health conditions in a residential or hospital setting.
Strong understanding of risk management and safeguarding procedures.
Compassionate, patient-centred approach to care.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
