Role: Scrub Theatre Practitioner
Location: The Lister Hospital
Hours: Permanent. Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: Monday - Saturday, 5 days per week, early or late shift.

We are looking for a Scrub Theatre Practitioner to join our Operating Theatre department at The Lister Hospital. The Lister Hospital has been offering world-class healthcare and treatment in the heart of Chelsea in London for over 30 years and has received an 'Outstanding' rating from the CQC. We have 4 Theatres, specialising in Orthopaedics, Spinal, Gynaecology, IVF, Neurology, ENT, Thoracic.

What will you do:

• Provide high quality assistance and support to the scrub Team.
• Working as part of a team ensuring a high standard of nursing care and safety of patients within the theatre department. Whilst utilising evidence based practice.
• Prepare equipment and instruments according to the individual needs of the patient and Surgeon, as well as involvement with the updating of Surgeon preference cards
• Ensure all equipment is checked prior to use and any faults reported to the Theatre Co-ordinator immediately.

What you will bring:

• Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner
• Current HCPC or NMC Registration / NMC Pin
• Experience working as a Scrub Theatre Practitioner in an Operating Theatre.
• Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and confident to support the theatre team
• Able to work as part of a team
