What you will do:

* Assume the role of Nurse in charge during some shifts, overseeing ward activities and ensuring the highest standards of care.

* Account for all responsibilities associated with being the Nurse in charge, maintaining awareness of accountability.

* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care tailored to individual needs.

* Support and mentor junior staff and act as a role model within the team.

* Engage with patient families and carers to provide information, reassurance, and guidance when necessary.

* Contribute to the development and review of care plans and maintain accurate patient records.

* Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations, including maintaining up-to-date DBS checks.
