What you will do:

* Work autonomously to maintain, evaluate, and support staff training regarding all POCT equipment following the guidance of the POCT co-ordinator.

* Ensure that POCT equipment is maintained, controlled, and available to facilitate a rapid and timely turnaround for patient care.

* Decide the viability of equipment for use, based on procedures and personal assessments, ensuring equipment is fit for purpose.

* Participate in the provision of External Quality Assurance Schemes (EQAS).

* Maintain database information including registers, standard operating procedures, and analyser maintenance programmes.

* Requirements include HCPC registration and the ability to drive, essential for this role.
