Biochemistry Biomedical Scientist Job

Mediplacements are recruiting for an experienced band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Biochemistry for a locum role with our client located in London.

The pay for this position is £24 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests, including routine and specialized tests in the Biochemistry Department
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards
- Interpret results accurately and provide reports to medical staff
- Maintain accurate records of tests performed, results obtained and equipment used
- Troubleshoot, calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments

Any skill/ Experience required: Working in chemistry validating results and working with diagnostic instruments.
Desirable experience but not mandatory;
1. Working with Alinity CI instrumentation
2. Working with Advances instruments osmometer
3. Working with Sunquest LIMS
4. Working with Q-Pulse

Shift Details:
Operational Hours: Full- time
Working days: Days/Late shifts Monday - Sunday
Working Hours: One trained will be required to work a shift pattern working:
· Day shifts - 9-5.30
· Late shifts - 11.30-8
· Weekend day shifts-9-5.30
· Weekend late shifts-11.30-8

The successful candidate must be HCPC registered and have experience in Biochemistry.
