Social Worker - Locality Team (Children and Young People)

As a Level 1 Social Worker, you will independently manage cases, using your expertise to support and empower service users in making informed decisions about their lives.

What You Will Do:
* Assess and Manage Risks: Handle complex and sensitive cases, conducting risk assessments and developing appropriate intervention plans.
* Support Service Users: Work closely with children, young people, families, and carers to identify their needs, empower decision-making, and promote positive outcomes.
* Collaborate with Professionals: Liaise with external agencies and professionals to provide holistic support and coordinate comprehensive care plans.
* Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure clear and precise documentation of case notes, assessments, and interventions to uphold transparency and accountability.
* Contribute to Service Development: Participate in service planning and evaluation processes, ensuring high-quality care and continuous improvement within the team.
Person Specification:
* Qualifications: Degree in Social Work or equivalent and registration with Social Work England.
* Experience: Proven experience working in children's services, including managing complex cases and conducting assessments.
* Skills: Strong communication, risk assessment, and case management abilities, along with the capacity to work autonomously and within a team.
