What you will do:

* Manage a complex caseload involving individuals, children, carers, and families requiring guidance and support.

* Use professional judgement in complex situations, employing a range of interventions to promote wellbeing and independence.

* Balance support and control to manage higher levels of risk, working with a wide range of professionals.

* Assist in developing support plans using an asset-based approach and facilitate informed choices about Direct Payments.

* Engage effectively in safeguarding and mental capacity assessments, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

* Take a leadership role in practice development and provide professional supervision to less experienced social workers.

* Where applicable, train as a Practice Placement Educator and supervise newly qualified social workers in the team.
