What You Will Do:

* Conduct Assessments: Perform comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of vulnerable individuals and families, ensuring timely and effective intervention.

* Undertake Section 47 Investigations: If suitably qualified, lead child protection inquiries, ensuring all actions adhere to legal and best-practice standards.

* Duty Rotation: Participate in the duty rota, providing responsive and efficient support to those in need.

* Collaborate Across Agencies: Work closely with other professionals within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub to deliver coordinated and holistic care.

* Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure all casework is accurately documented and compliant with statutory guidelines.

Skills and Qualifications:

* Degree in Social Work (or equivalent) and current registration with Social Work England.

* Experience in MASH, assessment teams, or child protection services is highly desirable.

* Strong analytical, assessment, and report-writing skills.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective multi-agency collaboration.
