We are seeking a skilled and adventurous Pharmacy Technician to join our team within the Prison Pharmacy at HMP Ranby in Retford. In this vital and rewarding role, you will earn between £26 and £32 per hour, depending on the day of the week, with the flexibility of full-time or part-time hours. What you will do:

* Medication Management: Manage the ordering, storing, and distribution of medications using electronic prescribing systems such as SystmOne to ensure timely and accurate patient delivery.

* Patient Care: Conduct medication reconciliation for new inmates, support medication optimization, and perform regular reviews to ensure treatment effectiveness.

* Compliance and Safety: Adhere to relevant regulations, conduct risk assessments, and ensure safe medication use while maintaining prison healthcare standards.

* Health Programs Implementation: Support health initiatives like smoking cessation and opioid substitution treatments to enhance patient well-being.

* Education and Advisory: Provide expert advice to patients and healthcare professionals on medications, promoting safe practices and informed decision-making.
