Senior Staff Nurse - Haematology / Oncology
Position: Senior Staff Nurse - Haematology / Oncology
Location: London
Salary: up to £44,000 (dependent on experience) with additional paid benefits and enhancements
Hours: Full-time
Contract: Permanent

MediTalent is recruiting for a Senior Staff Nurse - Haematology / Oncology to join our client within their modern private hospital based in London.

As a Senior Staff Nurse specialising in Haematology and Oncology, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional, compassionate care to patients with blood disorders and cancers.

Collaboration is key in this role as you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of oncologists, haematologists, pharmacists, and therapists, fostering a holistic approach to patient care. Your commitment to maintaining the highest clinical standards, patient safety, and infection control practices will ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage personalised care plans for patients with empathy, understanding, and professionalism.
  • You will provide invaluable emotional and psychological support to patients and their families
  • Administer chemotherapy and other cancer treatments.
  • Use your clinical skills in venepuncture, cannulation, and intravenous drug administration.
The Right Candidate:
  • NMC Nurse registration.
  • Experience in chemotherapy administration.
  • Experience in haematology or oncology (post-registration).
  • Skilled in venepuncture, cannulation, and intravenous drug administration.
