Swindon Borough Council has three openings for talented individuals to join their Family Safeguarding Service. Located in the vibrant town of Swindon, you will be earning £46.32 per hour with an ongoing contract. This full-time locum position offers the perfect blend of flexibility and a supportive work environment. The role is ideal for those over 50 miles from Swindon, as you will receive a flat rate of £100 per week to assist with accommodation or mileage.

What you will do:

* Conduct comprehensive assessments, including parenting assessments, promptly to support the development of outcome-focused care plans with children and their families.

* Manage care proceedings within the court system, covering both private and public cases.

* Initiate and complete court processes within set timelines, working towards permanency plans for children, including adoption.

* Analyse and respond to complex risk scenarios, documenting your interventions and providing insight into your work with children and families.

* Collaborate within a team of five Social Workers and one Manager, ensuring a cohesive and effective pod structure for optimal management and support.
