Staff Nurse
Position:
Staff Nurse
Location: London
Contract: Full Time - Permanent
Salary: 36,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Meditalent is seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Nurse to join a prestigious private clinic in London. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to patients in a private healthcare setting. You will be part of a team that is committed to excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional care to patients in both pre-operative and post-operative ward settings.
  • Deliver specialised care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), ensuring patient recovery is managed safely and effectively.
  • Monitor patient conditions, including vital signs, and promptly report any changes to the clinical team.
  • Assist with wound care management, ensuring proper technique and hygiene are followed at all times.
  • Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Prioritise patient safety while managing competing demands in a busy environment.
  • Support patients and their families on post-surgical care, treatment plans, and expected recovery processes.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • A valid NMC pin is required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a pre- or post-operative ward setting.
  • Experience working within a PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit).
  • Working within a private healthcare setting previously is advantageous.
  • Strong clinical knowledge of patient care in day-case surgery settings with proven experience within recovery, ambulatory, and wound care.
