What you will do:
- Provide comprehensive healthcare services, including health assessments, immunizations, and health education to school-aged children.
- Collaborate with schools, children's social care professionals, GPs, and other healthcare providers to deliver holistic care.
- Guide and supervise junior nursing staff and healthcare assistants to enhance service delivery.
- Focus on public health by identifying early health needs and implementing protective interventions.
- Engage with the community to address public health needs through targeted programs.
- Ensure accuracy in record keeping and actively participate in clinical governance activities.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Experience in school nursing or a related healthcare setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Leadership qualities and organizational capability.
- Flexibility and resilience in handling challenging situations, including child safeguarding.
