Social Worker - Duty & Assessment Team within Children in Devon (UK), earning £38 hourly. This is an ongoing full-time locum position, offering a wonderful chance to make a difference while enjoying flexible work arrangements.
We are seeking skilled and experienced social workers to join our dynamic team in South Devon. Here, you'll have the opportunity to foster meaningful relationships with children, young people, and families, striving towards positive, family-led outcomes. Working under the guidance of the Ofsted Improvement Plan, you will play a crucial role in shaping a brighter future for the children and families we serve. Our assessment team is equipped with three specialist practitioners to enhance our service delivery, focusing on important assessments such as Reg 24's and Pre-birth Assessments.

What you will do:
* Conduct Child and Family Assessments to determine needs and decide on necessary interventions.

* Provide expert guidance through the complex legal frameworks involved in family assessments.
* Support children and families through emergency situations, offering immediate care and planning.
