Job Description

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of elderly individuals? We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced nurse to join our client's prestigious nursing home in Great Yarmouth

Position: Staff Nurse (RGN/RMN)

Location: Great Yarmouth

Hourly Rate: £21 per hour (Pay review in April)

Hours: 24 hours per week

Our client is a small private nursing home known for providing exceptional care and support to the elderly. Situated in the vibrant neighbourhood of Great Yarmouth, the facility offers a warm and welcoming environment where residents can receive the highest standard of care. The nursing home is equipped with modern amenities and a dedicated team of professionals who are committed to promoting the well-being and comfort of every resident.

Responsibilities:

· As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to residents within the nursing home setting. Your primary duties will include:

· Conducting thorough assessments of residents' health needs and developing personalized care plans

· Administering medications and treatments according to prescribed protocols

· Monitoring residents' vital signs and addressing any changes in their health status promptly

· Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care is provided

· Providing emotional support and maintaining effective communication with residents, their families, and colleagues

· Promoting a safe and comfortable environment for residents, adhering to health and safety regulations

· Ensuring accurate documentation and maintaining up-to-date records

Requirements:

· To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

· Registered Nurse qualification (RGN or RMN) with a valid and active NMC pin

· Proven experience working as a Staff Nurse in a similar setting, preferably within a nursing home or elderly care facility for minimum of 6 months

· Sound knowledge of current nursing practices and clinical procedures

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues

· Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively

· Compassionate nature with a genuine passion for caring for the elderly
