Social Worker - Frontline Team - Manchester UK - £35 Hourly - ASAP Start - End of May

We are thrilled to present a fantastic locum opportunity for a Social Worker to join a vibrant Frontline Team based in Manchester, earning an impressive £35 per hour. This full-time role requires a commitment of 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 08:45 until 16:30, offering a thorough work-life balance to the chosen candidate. What you will do:

- Assess and monitor the needs of children and families, creating tailored care plans.

- Attend and represent the local authority at various legal proceedings, ensuring the best outcomes for children under your care.

- Work collaboratively with a keen focus on child protection, ensuring safety and welfare are prioritised.

- Engage with interdisciplinary teams, providing holistic support tailored to each child's needs.

- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring clarity and detail in documentation.

* Experience is key in this position. If you have a history of working with children and young families within frontline services - such as child in need, child protection, and for children who are looked after - your skills will be invaluable here. Additionally, familiarity with pre-proceedings and an understanding of legal frameworks including private and public law proceedings and adoption procedures will set you ahead of our expectations. And, a full driving license is essential for this mobile role, ensuring your ability to visit clients across Manchester.
