What you will do:
* Deliver high standards of mental health nursing care in accordance with trust policies and procedures.
* Support individuals experiencing mental health conditions, ensuring their safety, dignity, and well-being.
* Administer medication, monitor effects, and provide accurate documentation.
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, therapists, and social workers.
* Conduct risk assessments and implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
* Respond effectively to mental health crises, providing compassionate and professional interventions.
* Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in line with NHS standards.
Essential Requirements:
* Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification with valid NMC registration.
* Experience working in mental health settings, preferably within the NHS.
* Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and adapt to different clinical environments.
* A compassionate, patient-centred approach to care.
Desirable :
Previous experience in crisis intervention or acute mental health settings.
Training in de-escalation techniques and safeguarding.
