We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker to join the Childcare - Children in Need team in Leicester. This is an ongoing locum position, offering an impressive £38 per hour. You will be an essential part of a dynamic team, working full-time to make a real difference in the lives of children and their families. If you have experience with court work and child protection, this is the role for you, as over 50 percent of our workforce are newly qualified workers. What you will do:
* Conduct assessments of children's needs and develop purposeful intervention plans
* Carry out court work including preparing reports and presenting evidence as needed
* Work directly with children and their families to provide support and protection
* Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure cohesive delivery of services
* Monitor and review cases to ensure ongoing support and safeguarding
* Work closely with newly qualified social workers to support their development
