As an integral part of the team, you will prepare comprehensive assessments for Court and Fostering Panels , supporting carers through the approval process. This role offers a chance to work in a supportive environment focused on high standards, regulatory compliance, and a child-centred approach.

What You Will Do:

* Conduct thorough assessments for Court and Fostering Panels, ensuring the best outcomes for children.

* Provide guidance and support to carers throughout the approval and review process.

* Advocate for the rights and well-being of children and young people within the community.

* Ensure compliance with statutory obligations and maintain the highest social work standards.

* Collaborate with multi-agency professionals to deliver holistic child welfare solutions.

* Maintain detailed records and develop strategic care plans that reflect the needs of each child.

* Be available for allocations and home visits as necessary, with the option for occasional remote work.

Your Skills and Experience Will Include:

* Social Work Qualification and Social Work England registration.

* Successful completion of the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) .

* Experience working in multi-agency and court environments , with knowledge of fostering regulations.

* Strong communication skills , both written and verbal.

* In-depth understanding of relevant legislation , social work models, and assessment frameworks.

* Organisational skills to manage complex caseloads and meet deadlines effectively.

* UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
