Qualified Social Worker - Adult Safeguarding Team in Lupset UK

Payrate: £35 per Hour

Job Type: Ongoing, Full-Time

What you will do:

- Conduct safeguarding investigations as stipulated by the Care Act 2014 to ensure the safety of vulnerable adults.

- Carry out comprehensive needs assessments, developing and reviewing care plans within the Care Programme Approach framework.

- Collaborate and build relationships with other professionals and agencies, ensuring you effectively advocate for service users.

- Supervise and mentor unqualified team members and students, promoting their development and contributions.

- Prepare and present high-quality reports for formal meetings, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and legislation.

Essential Qualifications:

- Degree in Social Work (DipSW or equivalent).

- Registration with Social Work England (SWE).

- Approved Social Worker status or willingness to undertake relevant training.

- Driving licence (essential for regional travel).

Experience Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years post-qualifying experience in adult safeguarding or mental health settings.

- Experience with individuals with learning disabilities or serious mental health problems.

Key Skills:

- Strong risk assessment abilities and exceptional communication skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Proficiency in IT systems for record-keeping and communication
