Job Description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s leading providers of behavioural care and specialist support services for a Registered Nurse Mental Health RMN to join the team within an independent mental health hospital in Llanarth, Monmouthshire

The hospital is a 96 bedded forensic hospital providing a secure environment consisting of medium, low and open rehabilitation settings for men and women with mental illness and or personality disorders.

We are inviting applications from candidates who have

• A relevant nursing qualification and registration

• Excellent team working skills, a high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach - our units operate 24 hours 7 days a week, and our nursing staff work shift patterns including weekends, bank holidays and nights

• A commitment to patient-centred care and to values-based and evidence-based practice

• The drive to continually push your own personal learning and development

This is a full time permanent post and offers a salary of £32,760.00 - £42,073 depending on experience + £5,000 Welcome Bonus

The shifts are 12 hours on a rota basis to include nights, weekends and bank holidays. Shift times would be:

• Day Shift = 07:30 > 19:45

• Night Shift = 19:30 > 07:45

Staff will work a set shift pattern, such as

• Week 1 = Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday

• Week 2 = Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
