Job Description
We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s leading providers of behavioural care and specialist support services for a Registered Nurse RMN or RNLD to join the team within a highly specialised, secure facility in near York.
Their services have produced excellent recovery results for those who stay with them and they are able to progress to low secure or locked rehabilitation if possible. They run a therapeutic programme to help patients to develop coping strategies, increase skills and resilience and enable patients to access the community to maximise their recovery potential.
Thery are able to support people with:
Complex mental health needs
Behaviours that challenge
Severe and enduring mental health needs
A learning disability
Personality disorders
Autism
Psychosis
Sexual offending behaviour
Substance misuse or forensic addictions
They are able to support people who are detained under the Mental Health Act (MHA).
Their LD and autism wards have been recently NAS accredited (National Autistic Society). They recognise the excellent, safe, responsive and caring environment and practises that support patients. The care and treatment reviews have also highlighted multiple areas of good practice and this is in recognition of the care and innovative care pathways and reduction in multiple transitions into non-secure services.
We are inviting applications from Nurses who are
• Registered Nurse Qualification (RMN/RNLD) with a Valid NMC PIN
• To be a team player, ready to collaborate and work closely with multifunctional teams
• To be self-aware, seeking support and advice when required
• Good listening and rapport building ability
• To be able to organize and prioritise your time
• Caring nature, dedicated to providing the highest level of patient care
This is a full time permanent post and offers a salary of £40,591.20 per annum + £3,500 Welcome Bonus, plus

Shift patterns are ;
Day shift is 7.25am-7.45pm
Night shifts 7.25pm-7.45am
